About
Helme Edge Vineyard is a small family boutique vineyard in Yorkshire run by three generations of the Calder/Smith family, nestled in the foothills of the Pennines. Visitors can enjoy vineyard tours and tastings of their flagship English Sparkling Solaris and still wines in their cozy bespoke tasting facility.

Grapes are picked relatively early to ensure acidity. The wine is bright with pleasing effervescence and a fruity character. Still Solaris is made from fully ripened grapes and gives a medium bodied wine with refreshing citrus and green apple flavours. Our pale pink rosé is made from a blend of Cabernet Cortis, Rondo and Solaris. The wine is also medium bodied, with notes of fresh red berries.
